A+ Gelato was born from a lifelong passion for authentic European dessert craft and a simple belief: the best treats are made with real ingredients, tradition, and a whole lot of care.
Our story started back in 1997 with Artan Kastrati. Working across Germany and Kosovo, Artan spent years mastering classic European gelato techniques while earning his degree as a certified food technologist (specializing in dairy, fruit, and vegetable processing).
For Artan, gelato isn’t just a sweet treat—it’s an art form powered by food science! Every single batch blends precision craftsmanship with pure flavor.
Together with his wife Albina, whose background in hospitality and tourism brings that signature warmth to every visit, A+ Gelato grew from a passion project into a family legacy.
In 2019, our family packed up our favorite traditional recipes and moved to sunny Cape Coral, Florida to bring authentic European-style gelato to our new home.
Today, Artan and Albina run A+ Gelato alongside their three sons—Ledian, Klodian, and Klenti. Growing up with the business, the boys bring energy, dedication, and extra smiles to every scoop we serve. When you walk through our doors, you’re not just a customer—you’re a guest in our home.
